Team Overview:

The Finance team members are located at the Las Vegas (NV), Irvine (CA), London and Estonia offices and covers all financial accounting and reporting aspects for GAN.


Job Purpose:

Leadership skills and experience are required to support the GAN Core Finance team through a transformative time.  This role is critical to the management of GL accountants through month end and quarter-end close, including journal entry review, GL reconciliation preparation and/or review, audit support preparation and/or review, as well as ad hoc projects.

 The successful candidate will be expected to assist the team to implement process improvements and systems automation using Excel, MS Dynamics 365, and other systems and tools yet to be implemented.  The Accounting Manager will also be tasked with ensuring finance team members follow established controls over financial processes, identify any control weaknesses to address, and assist in rolling out SOX for the first time.  Further, the role will guide the team to ensure financial close deadlines are adhered to by the Core Finance team.


Description of Job Responsibilities:

  • Review and approval of journal entries
  • Manage the transactional close
  • Review GL reconciliations
  • Review month-end analysis with the view to identifying errors
  • Review / prepare auditor support preparation
  • Variance analysis on P&L accounts
  • Ensure the accounting processes followed by the core finance team adhere to accounting policies and are ultimately SOX compliant
  • Ad hoc and other tasks as assigned



  • Qualified accountant with 8+ years of general accounting in an international company (preference for a combination of Big 4 audit experience)
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of accrual accounting and IFRS
  • Expert in month-end close and journal entry review
  • Highly experienced in process improvement
  • Advanced professional skills in Excel
  • Preference to candidates who have worked in a SOX 404 environment
  • Proven ability to deliver under pressure
  • Prior experience using Microsoft D365 Business Central
  • Strong emotional IQ (EQ) and demonstrated ability to create relationships with new people quickly and easily and manage those relationships effectively over time
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Self-motivated and solution-oriented
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Confident, strategic thinker
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Demonstrates ability to adapt to various corporate cultures
