Team Overview:

IT Operations team members are located at the Tel Aviv, Las Vegas, Irvine, New Jersey, London and Sofia offices and covers all technology aspects for GAN.

Job Purpose:

The Procurement Manager/ Director owns the process that centralizes procurement of technology, systems or supplies across the enterprise, ongoing vendor management and reviews.

 Description of Job Responsibilities:

  • Feeding into the procurement policy requirements as determined by CFO/CIO
  • Review of any proposed purchase of technology, systems, external software or corporate hardware or supplies.
  • Coordinating with other departments and relevant individuals to review for security, legal/contract, compliance or jurisdictional requirements. (is the purchase to be used in a jurisdiction where licensing or approval is required etc)
  • Reviewing SLA or contractual terms
  • Reviewing and negotiating commercial terms
  • Assessment of suitability against needs of the business / stakeholder
  • Assessment of overhead or burden of any proposed implementation (administration, impact or staffing/resource, time, cost not directly allocated to purchase)
  • Technical suitability assessments (does the software integrate with existing AD, SSO etc)
  • Bid/RFP management for lager procurements
  • Purchase Order and Invoice management, working with finance (Ensure clear audit and all billing is correctly tied to the enterprise department or correct rebilling to a customer)
  • Coordination with logistics companies, import/export authorities, customers or shipping destinations
  • Asset management allocation and review with Finance and IT. Ownership of asset inventory and feed into audit process for asset management
  • Contract performance review where applicable (ongoing evaluation and review of performance against obligations, deliveries, SLA/SLO etc)
  • Assisting with 3rd party access control audits and management with 3rd parties and internal stakeholders
  • Ensuring purchasing is in line with departmental budget and ongoing opex implications and overhead are understood and budgeted by the relevant department or lead
  • Ensure correct authority has signed off purchases or agreements in line with corporate policy on limits and governance.

Requirements:

  • Strong vendor management experience
  • Ability to work in a highly regulated or governed environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent exp. Master’s a plus.
  • Strong emotional IQ (EQ) and demonstrated ability to create relationships with new people quickly and easily and manage those relationships effectively over time
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Self-motivated and solution-oriented
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Confident, strategic thinker
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to plan strategically, but stay on top of tactical execution

 

Travel Requirements:

This role requires some travel to other global offices.
