Team Overview:

Compliance team members are located at Las Vegas, London and Sofia offices and are also Remote in the US.  They cover all compliance aspects for GAN.

 Job Purpose:

The Internal Compliance Auditor is responsible for conducting the internal reviews and internal audits of the Infosec, Technology, Operations, Development, and Support Control Activities, and the applicable policies and procedures, on the timetables required by applicable North American regulators.

 Description of Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Compliance, Security, and IT departments to confirm that internal controls are appropriately documented in policies and procedures (Control Activities) to address all IT security and gaming regulations.
  • Provide advice and suggest updates for Control Activities and applicable policies and procedures.
  • Working with SVP, Gaming Compliance, formulate a plan to test the documented policies and existing controls to ensure compliance is evidenced and documented.
  • Perform regular risk assessments and document outcomes for SVP, Gaming Compliance.
  • Perform periodic audits and reviews as required by gaming regulations and by the internal audit plan.
  • Identify gaps in policy, additional risks and suggest / implement compensating controls. 
  • Prepare reports for the SVP, Gaming Compliance and Compliance Committee regarding the period reviews and audits and any identified gaps or deficiencies. 
  • Track all gaps, deficiencies, and mitigation plans actions through to completion of mitigation.
  • Proactively work with stakeholders on remediation plans where there are deficiencies or potential deficiencies.
  • Provide Maintain Risk and Governance documentation and catalogue supporting evidence


  • Experience planning and conducting internal audits is strongly preferred
  • Lead Auditor Certification for ISO27001 audits preferred
  • Experience of ISO27000 (with focus on 27001), ISO31000 strongly preferred
  • Experience with PCI-DSS and GLI-33B audits a benefit
  • Knowledge / Experience with Sox and SSAE-18 Soc1/2 a benefit
  • Knowledge of any USA or Canadian gaming jurisdictional regulations strongly preferred
  • Ability to work in a highly regulated or governed environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. A Master’s degree a plus.
  • Strong emotional IQ (EQ) and demonstrated ability to create relationships with new people quickly and easily and manage those relationships effectively over time
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Self-motivated and solution-oriented
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to plan strategically, but stay on top of tactical execution


Travel Requirements: This role requires some travel to other global offices.
