Team Overview:

The Product and B2C teams comprises Content Management, Design, Product and B2C staff, currently based in London - UK, and Sofia - Bulgaria.  A flexible approach to time zones is expected in order to work with colleagues in different time zones depending on project and operational requirements.

Job Purpose:

Join GAN as part of the dedicated team working on Penn Interactive, as it begins to build its vision of an omni-channel ecosystem and create a connected experience across its digital and physical products for its players and guests. As the digital arm to Penn National Gaming, the largest regional casino operator in the U.S., they are poised for fast-paced growth in the sports betting and online casino space. Penn Interactive is growing and GAN is therefore looking for a Product Manager to deliver the next generation social gaming experience. The successful candidate has an eye for customer experience and deep technical knowledge, and will work closely with engineering, QA, UX, and business teams to build a highly immersive experience for players.

Description of Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing and delivering a best-in-class experience for Penn players. As a Product Owner you will own features of the platform and take responsibility for the successful development and deployment of those features. You will help define the roadmap by digging into the social casino space and becoming an expert on what will invigorate current users and inspire new ones. In addition, you will:

  •  Define a well-researched, long-term vision for core aspects of the social casino platform that tie into Penn’s larger omni-channel ecosystem vision.
  • Become a subject matter expert on social casino features, including monetization.
  • Work with key business stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize implementation.
  • Understand user wants and needs through research, persona development, and user testing
  • Study the competitive landscape to understand industry best practices and areas for improvement
  • Looking outside of the industry for best-in-class experience innovation to help challenge the status quo around new features and implementation
  • Carefully break down larger strategies into well-defined, detailed product requirements and create Product Feature Specifications
  • Work closely with designers and engineers in an agile environment to ensure successful execution of the roadmap.
  • Write user stories and prioritize backlogs based on the Social Casino roadmap
  • Collaborate with cross functional business teams to ensure successful product launches and effectively communicate new product updates and features to the larger team.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in a software product manager role with Interactive design experience
  • Expertise in software product development lifecycle
  • Experience developing short-term (quarterly) and long-term (vision) product roadmaps
  • Strong ability to translate product needs to technology/engineering and the business
  • Ability to understand and delve holistically into a product while also being able to break down features and set priorities
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders
  • Good communication skills along with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams
  • Experience working with and inspiring engineering teams
  • Experience working with and driving third parties
  • Understanding of product design, dependencies, and tradeoffs
  • Familiarity with an Agile development process and driving the product roadmap
  • Knowledge of Agile tools, like Jira or Trello
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and thrive in fast-paced environments
  • Strong problem-solving abilities; you can cut through the noise and laser focus on what really matters
  • Demonstrated ability to understand creative goals alongside business goals
  • Experience managing third party developers located around the world.
  • Social casino or game experience (not required but preferred)
  • Strong emotional IQ (EQ) and demonstrated ability to create relationships with new people quickly and easily and manage those relationships effectively over time
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Self-motivated and solution-oriented
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through

 

Travel Requirements:

This role may require some travel according to client requirements.

GAN operates in a highly regulated environment, and candidate may be required to obtain an occupational gaming license in one or more U.S. states, which includes an application of personal data, a criminal and credit check, and fingerprints.  GAN will cover all costs and provide access to an Identify Protection program.
