Team Overview:

The Product and B2C teams are comprised of Content Management, Design, Product and B2C staff, currently based in London - UK, and Sofia - Bulgaria.  A flexible approach to time zones is expected in order to work with colleagues in different time zones depending on project and operational requirements. 

Job Purpose:

Join GAN as part of the dedicated team working on Penn Interactive, as it begins to build its vision of an omni-channel ecosystem and create a connected experience across its digital and physical products for its players and guests. As the digital arm to Penn National Gaming, the largest regional casino operator in the U.S., they are poised for fast-paced growth in the sports betting and online casino space. Penn Interactive is growing and GAN is therefore looking for a Visual Designer for the design and creative implementation of MyChoiceCasino.

Description of Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for delivering best-in-class experience designs for Penn players. As a key designer you help own the design of MyChoiceCasino and take responsibility for the creative implementation across the site as well as iOS and Android apps. This person should be patient, understanding, ego-free and eager to give and receive constructive feedback. In addition, you will: 

  • Help shepherd ideas from conception to release, advocating for clean and understandable solutions along the whole journey.
  • Consulting with the internal team and determining visual design preferences and expectations.
  • Designing new creative ways to make the product “pop” and stand out from traditional casino apps.
  • Drive visual design concepts for brainstorming and approval in a timely manner.
  • Meet with the Penn team for feedback and editing designs, when required and according to feedback.
  • Stay up-to-date with design application changes and industry developments.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Commitment to delivering top quality design with an innovative approach to design.
  • Ability to “hit the ground running”.   


  • An excellent online portfolio showcasing user experience and visual design work for desktop and touch devices. 
  • 5+ years of work experience crafting extraordinary user interface design in web, mobile-web, iOS and Android app experiences. 
  • Ability to communicate design concept ideas through sketches and wireframes.
  • Highly skilled in Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote and other design tools.
  • Able to function independently and in a team environment.
  • Enthusiasm for an iterative design process, inspired by group critique.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Good communication skills along with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams.
  • Understanding of agile software product development lifecycle and designing within this methodology.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as HTML and JavaScript would be beneficial. 
  • Extensive experience in determining visual design preferences and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in keeping up with visual design technologies and industry trends.
  • Understanding of product design, dependencies, and tradeoffs.
  • Knowledge of Agile tools, like Jira or Trello.
  • Social casino or game experience (not required but preferred).
  • Strong emotional IQ (EQ) and demonstrated ability to create relationships with new people quickly and easily and manage those relationships effectively over time
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Self-motivated and solution-oriented
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through

Travel Requirements:

This role may require some travel according to client requirements.

GAN operates in a highly regulated environment, and candidate may be required to obtain an occupational gaming license in one or more U.S. states, which includes an application of personal data, a criminal and credit check, and fingerprints.  GAN will cover all costs and provide access to an Identify Protection program.
