People Operations Specialist, Systems & Analytics
The HR team encompasses HR partnerships, HR operations, recruiting, and facilities functions across the global organization. The HR operations function at GAN is expanding to support the entire Sega Sammy Creation organization, with entities in more than nine countries. This function owns the HRIS ecosystem—including all processes, workflows, system integrations, and annual events—and supports compensation, benefits, performance management, and other people-related programming.
As the People Operations Specialist, Systems & Analytics, you will be the architect of our people data infrastructure and the primary administrator for HiBob. Reporting directly to the Senior Director, People Operations, your mission is to transform our HR tech stack into a scalable, automated engine that powers the entire employee lifecycle. You won't just be maintaining systems; you will be building the "single source of truth" that leadership relies on to make critical business decisions. From developing workflows to translating complex datasets into actionable insights, your work will directly impact our ability to scale efficiently. You will own the integrity, governance, and integration of our people data, ensuring that our systems talk to each other seamlessly and that our team has the real-time insights they need to thrive.
Core responsibilities
HRIS SME: You have deep, hands-on experience administering HRIS Systems. You don’t just navigate the platform; you master its configurations, custom automations, and third-party integrations.
Data-Driven Storyteller: You have a passion for “clean” data. You enjoy building sophisticated dashboards that track headcount, attrition, and workforce planning, and you possess the analytical bridge to turn those numbers into meaningful recommendations for stakeholders. This includes conducting regular data audits and system clean-ups to ensure accuracy and integrity across all connected platforms, auditing new hire onboarding data in HiBob and Paycom on a recurring basis to identify and resolve discrepancies, and developing and running standard and ad hoc reports within the HRIS to support people analytics needs.
Automation Mindset: You are tech-forward and actively look for ways to leverage AI tools. You thrive on replacing manual, repetitive tasks with intelligent workflows and proactive data anomaly detection. This includes identifying opportunities to streamline HRIS processes and enhance the user experience, creating and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs), job aids, training videos, and user communications, and maintaining the job description catalog in HiBob to ensure data is current for all roles and locations.
Cross-Functional Integration Partner: You understand how People Ops intersects with Finance, Payroll, and Benefits. You have experience managing complex integrations across various platforms to ensure a unified, seamlessly connected tech stack. This includes serving as the first point of contact for all HR systems inquiries (navigation, transactions, and reporting), performing routine data updates, coordinating with IT and vendors on troubleshooting and system enhancements, maintaining and updating compensation benchmarking data in HiBob, and assisting with annual compensation planning cycles
